Well, "I Wasn't Born Here, But I Got Here Just as Fast as I Could"

When I moved to Austin 16 years ago I read this saying on a bumper sticker and chuckled.  Take this famous Texas saying to heart.  Native Austinites do have reason to be proud!

Austin is frequently rated the #1 place to live in the USA by Forbes, Money Magazine, and American Cities Business Journals.  Don't take my word, check out www.austintexas.org  for more references. 

From a personal perspective these are some of my favorite things about living in the Austin area:  friendly folks, parks and walking trails in every area of town, lake living~even in the city, the sunsets & views, great restaurants, and music, music, music!
